Sarah Michelle Gellar wore this dramatic and classy Bottega Veneta strapless black gown at the Costume Institute Gala and she chose to accessorize with a crocodile clutch and artsy earrings. Christina Ricci wore the same dress at the Chopard Party in Cannes pairing her look with a clutch similar to Gellar's and opted to keep her earrings simple. She did, however, go heavy on the collarbone with a diamond crusted emerald necklace. Both ladies look sleek but who do you think wore it better?

I think it fits Christina better but I prefer Smidge's hair and accessories. It would be a tie but I adore with the fire of a thousand suns so I chose her.

that was tough since they booth look fab. but i went with sarah only because i prefer no necklace. I liked the big earings as the statement.

they both look great but for different reasons - I love Cristina's hair and her bone structure looks amazing with that dress, but the necklace is an awkward length and I don't think it goes well with the dress; and I love SJP's earrings and clutch but I hate the hair soooo I love and hate both looks...
