Why so many hates?! IT'S DARING!!

Eh...looks too much like something Blanche Devereaux from the Golden Girls would wear. All the ruching, and the gold...dunno it's too 80s for me.

It's not flattering to her figure at all...maybe if it were a little more form fitting. As it is, she looks bulky.

I could never really "hate" anything she wears...

On nother girl i should say: terrible! i generally hate this kind of dress. But I have to say that this woman could put on everthing..and does not stop to look classy and beauty. How she can do it??
So i said" undecided" cause i can not say i love this disgusting dress. Even if she is able to valorize it!

I honestly think Blanchett could wear a garbage bag and look stunning. And this look is halfway there, and she's pulling. it. off.

Even though it's an ugly dress she still looks okay. She's lucky that way. Plus it matches everything around her.

While I don't love the dress, she just had a baby, so I can forgive her wanting to wear something loose. And on her, everything is stunning!

I love it!!! I think it fits in an atypical way and isn't ill-fitting. She looks sexy as hell.

Its not my FAVORITE look of hers, but i think its fitting for the event and she as always makes anything look fabulous!

i'll say it again, its so sad that this is fashionable now. what happened to things that look good? Fashion now is about trying something that hasn't been done before, and sorry, but everything that could be done has been done. so if this lady considers a golden trashbag with a string attached, i'm not jumping on the bandwagon and calling it 'trendy'.

i thought it was blake lively at first, possibly because of her serena-esque shiny outfit.

She looks like she's wrapped in gold foil. If I could have my choice of any dresses I could fit to wear to a premiere, this just wouldn't be on my list of choices.

Aw come on you guys, it's brilliant.

It looks awful!! The style that ties around the tummy is not a happy look for an older woman, it makes her chest looks heavy and droopy. It's exactly the same fit on the upper as my mom's bath robe which has the same effect! Plus the material must have some strange light reflecting properites that makes it not photograph very well.

I'm sorry but on anyone else this would look tragic but Cate can pull off just about anything...

I adore Cate, she is one of my absolute favourite people onscreen.
