I oft talk about my love of the '20s flapper era and Diane is the epitome of that time at the amFAR event at the Cannes Film Festival. From her sleek hair down to her shoes, she's perfection in my eyes. The whisper sequins and train are such lovely details. Do you love or hate?

No, I can't say that I like it.
She is becomging a fashion icon.
Love it !!! She's amazing.
The outfit is very beautifully put together, but I can't see this working on someone even slightly more filled out than her. It has absolutely no shape in the waist area.
i love the dress, but i want to know if anyone else think she is looking a little more busty and full than usual(maybe baby rumors) ? or is it just the dress?
It's okay. Nothing too special. I
her hair though!
PERFECTION!
It just looks funny. Maybe it's the hair. Or something. Or maybe I'm too Minnesotan. I just don't like it.
she looks good but i dont like the dress at all
Whoa. I'm speechless, it's sooo perfect!
I think its too big at the waist.
she's so pretty, no matter what she wears and she has great arm candy.
So lovely...
I still don't know if I like it or not.
I am really starting to LOVE this woman's style...she looks beyond gorgeous here.
Beautiful look--the train is lovely.
those two make such a classy couple
I will say i don't like it......
She is fab, and I love Josh Jackson (ever have since Mighty Ducks!), but I would like to start seeing them in movie or TV projects other than just out and about (even though they always looks great doing so). I know he has a TV project coming up, but anything for her...?
She's in alot of foreign movies. She's German, remember? But she was just in National Treasure 2 which was a huge blockbuster.
It's too shapeless.
i'd love it more if it were more figure hugging.
her hair look terrible and the dress too
exquisite!
ok, firsst of all, a flapper style dress is NOT supposed to be form-fitting - I think the dress exquisite and looks great on her, but I think the proble is the length. flapper dress used to go halfway below the knee (b4 modesty went out of fashion), and lately have been super short - the leg helps balance out the potato sack fit. so, while I love the dress and think she looks amazing, I wish it had been shorter - at least to the ankle...
oops typo - first - speaking of which, I think Fab meant "I OFTEN talk about my love..."
I dont like it, she has a slammin body but this is too heavy for her, too droopy it looks like a half squeezed toothpaste tube.
The dress is beautiful, but I don't think it's flattering on her. If it were either looser or tighter, it would be great, but it's in that limbo where it just emphasizes her hips.
i wish it were a bit more fitted in the middle but its still pretty
She looks like a Greek goddess here.
the dress I could take or leave, but the hair made it for me.
If the dress had a waist it would have been beautiful, but without one it looks boxy and weird...like she's a boy wearing a sheet and a push-up bra.
The look is very well put together. The hair, dress, shoes and clutch works perfect together. I didn't like the dress on her at first but I think it kinda grew on me.
Pretty material and nice hair but I don't like the shapelessness of it.
While flapper looks were always about being very boyish and "up and down" figures, you can't have it both ways by the dress being boxy and yet be stuffed with cleavage at the top.
Imho, the dress either needs to be a bit curvier, or she would have to be less so....a Winona Ryder type could pull off the real "Flapper" look much better.
This fabric redone in another 30s look..the slinky sheath, would have hugged her curves and been a more coherent look, I think.
