Natalie Portman totally wowed me in this origami-pleat asymmetrical white Givenchy frock at the amFAR event at the Cannes Film Festival. The layers upon layers of white waves are gorgeous, and I love how she paired the dress with simple accessories and black sandals — just let the dress do all the talking. Two thumbs up for me, how about you?

5One of the most beautiful dresses I've ever seen. It's perfect!
6The dress is gorgeous and she wears it so well.
7I agree ladies!
FABULOUS!
8She's like a perfect sculpture, Nat is SOOO gorgeous!
9wow, wow, and WOW! she looks incredible.
10She would look gorgeous in a paper bag and no hair. oh wait, didn't she already pull that off in V for Vendetta??
11what an elegant and fanciful sight.
12^yes she did and yes she was still stunning. this is a good color on her
13Amaaaazing.
14She works this outfit so well that it makes my jaw drop. One would think she couldn't because it's so voluminous and she's a petite girl but the thing I like about the dress is it's not too long-if it were-it would totally drown her out and she totally pulls it off with the classy black heels.
15she looks amazing...she can do no wrong!!!
16This is the dress Bjork should have word to the oscars!
17Love it and love her!
18just stunning!
19fashiondip- agreed, agreed, agreed.
20beautiful. i can only imagine what she would look in a white wedding dress. classy!
21Wow, she's getting so thin! Indulge in some of that delicious French food, Ms. Portman!
22she is so purrrrrtty!
23good example of not letting the clothing wear you, right?
24Love it!
25Wow, no one else could pull this one off! I love, love, love it!
26definitely a great dress!
27purely perfection, the dress is amazing but you see her and not just the dress! soo pretty!
28100% in love with the dress.
29I love the dress, but hate the color of the shoes. I think black is too heavy of a color. Personally, I would have prefered silver shoes -- metallic color like her earrings.
30Gorgeous dress, very unique.. And she pairs it with the right shoes.. She's my fave!
31It's like a modern Marilyn Monroe dress! Gorgeous!!
32love - I agree with groovacious that it works great on her, especially because she is so petite and the dress is so volumious - I just wish she had worn solid pumps instead of strappy sandals, I think it would have looked even simpler and perfectly complementary...
33I always remembered Jennifer Love Hewitt playing Audrey Hepburn in some t.v. special and I thought to myself, she can't play that role! Natalie Portman should be the only one who can play Audrey. Not saying Natalie should, but she's the Audrey of this generation.
34Hey girls, there are 28 fools here!
35Who can say hate? Why? Is enchanting!!
she looks fab. the shoes are off though...
36She looks so beautiful!
37STUNNING!!!!!!!!
38LOVE THIS!
39She looks gorgeous! That dress is a work of art!
40I love her in almost anything - she so effortless pulls off her look, no matter what it is! She is absolutely amazing!
41PERFECT! best dress so far at the festival!
42She can do no wrong.
43Sooo pretty!! She works it..now I wish I could.
44add a swan on it, and i'd still love it. she's so awesome...
45She looks fabulous, not every one can pull of that white look! Big fan of her, great acting in other bolyne girl fantastic!!!
46*yawn* Boring, boring, boring. The dress IS wearing her. Natalie as the Audrey Hepburn of our generation?? I beg to differ. Even Audrey was more interesting than she is.
47She. Looks. AMAZING!!
48Very fun and cute. It's very un-Natalie so that is even better.
49She pulls it off, in my opinion. It works. But I am not 100% sold on the black shoes.
