i like that the complement each other- both with the one shoulder look- but they don't match exactly. it works well for the mother-daughter look

I love the black but hate the red. The lady in red has hideous age spots on her forehead and really needs to learn to stay out of the sun. Gross.

Dress mom in the daughter's black frock, but in a LONGER length, like a sheath with a slit leg......she has a nice line across her arms and shoulders and she is in shape enough to carry it off.

Oh...and tone down her shoes.
