11I have a "Emily" nameplate necklace that I got way back in 1998 or 1999...when SATC first came out and I HAD to have the Carrie nameplate necklace! Haven't worn it in at least 5 years...maybe I'll have to break it out again.

14I would actually like a nameplate necklace, i think they're really cute, but the problem is my family nickname is Carrie, it's what everyone has called me since birth practically, but I have to say I would feel like a tool wearing a "Carrie" necklace, or at least I would assume that everyone thought I was a tool for wearing it!

Is there a story behind this necklace? I vaguely remember the ep where she freaked about losing it, but I didn't really understand why (I haven't watched most of the early SaTC seasons). Does it carry (no pun intended) some special meaning I don't know of?
