The fashion world is heavily influenced by Africa and Asia as we speak. And it's a good thing because those countries have a lot of undiscovered trends to offer. British designer Matthew Williamson was ethnically inspired for Spring, and as a result, we saw a lot of beading, mixed prints, and bold colors. To make the yellow mini dress Anja Rubik is wearing more interesting, Matthew threw on a khaki jacket and a beaded belt. If you want to channel a faraway place this Summer, you should do the same.

Subtle ethnic accents have always been part of my personal style, so I'm glad that the rest of the world is catching up now
;)
1Now it we can just get some "ethnic" models in some of the clothes that would be great? Vouge Italia anyone????
2That list is perfect!
3Please make the correction so that Africa and Asia do NOT sound like they are countries...they're continents.
4Love that look and your items are a great match to the original.
5that belt is hot, but the price is a little
. I live in South Africa, and i can get
something similar for a much more reasonable price. Maybe i should buy a bunch here, and sell them on the net if it becomes a big fashion trend!
6Love these pieces, and the matthew williamson look is so getting looked for less( in my closet)!
7Love it!
