Sunny gal Nicole Richie and her baby's daddy Joel spent a lovely and charitable afternoon at the A Time For Heroes Celebrity Carnival event. She came out looking like the Nicole we know, in an adorable yellow floral romper, slingback Loubs, and oversized sunnies. Only, she decided to leave behind the heavy accessorizing for something more minimal. I love Nic's ability to accessorize, but every now and then, it's nice to see something unexpected. And I don't know about you, but I love her latest hippie-braid kick!

23That dress suggestion is ugly. Surely if you're going to suggest stupidly expensive bag/shoes/sunglasses then suggest a stupidly expensive dress that actually looks nice? It's hideous. Looks more like my Nan's old carpet than a pretty dress.
