What happens when a designer is faced off in her own design? You'll have to be the judge of that as we find out, which leading lady wore Stella's creation better. Liv Tyler opted to show off her stems in the designer's shorter version at the premiere of The Incredible Hulk. Pairing it with sky-high platform sandals and dangly gold earrings was a good call. On the other hand, Stella stayed elegant in the same dress, but longer, with matching cobalt-blue pumps last month at the Costume Institute Gala. Both of the women evoke at-ease sexiness but which look do you prefer?

I like Liv better
I love love love Liv's dress! The color and length and style is wonderful. Good for her!
Stella
It's hard to see Stella's in that picture, but Liv's looks less like a toga.
Liv looks FABULOUS!
I love Liv's shoes, especially, that's what tipped the scales to her for me.
Liv, because she's taller and carries off the big bow better, but I really like both. That is a beautiful color and material!!!
I prefer the shorter version of it, so Liv!
it's lovely, but comes off as a wee bit frumpy on stella due to that length (but i totally want to get my paws on those cobalt shoes!) - liv looks great!
Liv!
I love the long version.
like it shorterd and without matching heels!
Shorter. It fits Liv really well.
Stella complements with great make up and accessories. Love!
Stella looks lumpy. But then again, I love Liv, so I am biased.
Liv looks great- again!
i dont really like how it just cuts off liv.
They both look nice, but Liv a tad better.
what happened to the "they both look nice" option?!
shorter is definitely more flirty
I think the shorter version on Liv makes her look pregnant.
Definitely not a look I'd want to wear.
liv is the best!
i thought it looked funny on stella at the gala, it looks better as a shorter cut on liv's frame
i love stella but liv looks foxy
Liv is a fox! She looks incredible in this month's SELF, too.
Liv.
