How wonderfully Sandra D are these Ralph Lauren Black Label Devon Silk Shantung Pant ($300, originally $498)? True, I would not wear them in my day-to-day; false, I would turn them down come Halloween. The bright pink is so intoxicating, and you know I love the retro appeal of a cropped pant. Do you see my point or are these just an eye sore?

Unless you're in the Grease revival, I think these are a no-no.
20Silk shantung is very nice luxurious fabric. If the pants were flowy and loose , it would have been nicer. This design here is okay but it can be tacky if worn with the wrong top or accessories.

Also, I agree with Bingkaycoy. Silk shantung has a lovely texture. These style of pants is NOT celebrating that.
