Katy Perry may be one of the most buzzed about newcomer singers right now, but it's her colorful clothes that have got the fashion world tuning in. She's at almost every fashion fête and was also invited to the Chanel boutique opening I attended. She's even been on the cover of my go-to fashion news source, Women's Wear Daily. After seeing the singer in her clothes in the WWD shoot, Betsey Johnson provided her various dresses for Fall New York Fashion Week.
If I had to compare her style to someone we know it would be Dita Von Teese (though she looks more like Zooey Deschanel). Only, the pinup girl look, though she has it down pat, is not all she's about. Katy is never afraid to experiment with bright colors, and she's open to looking ultra girlie one time and then completely cheeky the other. From rompers to sequin dresses, ruffles to short shorts, this risk taker has tried everything at least once. I'm definitely keeping tabs on what she'll wear next on stage and on the red carpet.

i think she has an adorable sense of style...but maybe that is because i adore zooey deschanel and everytime i see katy i think it is really zooey. SO WEIRD.......................
