Mark this day on your calendar as historic because Christian Louboutin has come out with shoes without a five-inch heel. OK, to be fair I have seen flats. But these Christian Louboutin Miss Grey Slingbacks ($875) are identical to the knotted Loubs we've seen, only they have a 3.5-inch heel. I'm so used to seeing super-tall Loubs that this version looks stout. Yes, these would be more comfortable to trot in, but part of Loub's appeal is the high, high heel. Are you with me?

They are okay but the reason I dream of one day owning a pair of Christian Louboutins is the high heel. That's what they are known for!
I agree Fab- their signature is a super-high heel.
But it's not like I hate them, if someone gave them to me I'd very gladly accept!
I dont like these ONLY because of the low heel- mama doesnt do a low heel!
Those are totally Fab!!! I love their shoes; however, not everyone can wear 5inches tall shoes - just ridiculous! I am very glad that they come out with this!
The only Christian Louboutin shoes I've seen that I'd wear are a pair of flats, flat sandals and especially these flat suede studded boots that I would really actually want to have.
Yes, yes, one could wear these all day and be very fab.
I would buy these if I could. Maybe one day I will. 3.5 is a bit over my max heel but I would sacrifice for these.
It's only a pair of peep toes for $875! Puh-leeze.
No thanks. They remind me of Blanche from the Golden Girls.
while i like high, i can't fault ladies for liking it a bit lower.
Ok, for a 5'11 chick, these are absolutely fabulous. I could wear Louboutin heels without towering over everyone else. I know Louboutins' signature is the height, but five inch heels tip me into 6'3, 6'4 territory, which. I'm not so keen on, however much I've embraced my tallness. These are a great alternative.
Eeeesh. They need that high heel. These do look a little Golden Girls. Which is great if you're 65 but if your not... a pass for sure.
they're cute!
Hate the colour, style and, low heel. Ugly shoe.
I've seen more done with 3 inches
i admit, i used to slaver after loubs, but they're getting seriously overhyped and overly common. it seems like every celebrity is wearing louboutins.
i really don't like the peep toe look with the chunky knot, and the low heel really is looking a little stout.
I scoff in the face of high heels. Finally, someone gets that not every woman wants to feel like her feet are bound.
Not attractive. The heel is a bit low for my taste but then again low heels work for some.
Er...and the color is NOT hot!
As for me, i love the color. But the design is very common.
the color is ferosh! i'm not liking the lower heel, though. even if it is lower, can't they make it a little more stiletto looking?
payless.
Eh. The heel is too low for my liking. I'm only 5'2, baby girl needs her HIGH heels.
I like them, but I prefer the super high heel too!
they are okay
i either like flat, flat flip-flops, or super high heels. no on these for me.
awful - they look so cheap...
I hate these, but not because I'm used to only seeing high Louboutins. There are loads of flats, kitten heels, wedges etc., all made by Louboutin and they aren't fug like this!!!! These are grandmother heels!
i don't like the style of the shoe itself, but i appreciate a lower heel cos i'm quite tall and 5/6 inch heels are too ridiculous for me!
I don't particularly care about these shoes, but I LOVE the heel. I have dreams of one day owning a pair of Louboutins, but I have a messed up back and 5 inch heels are out of the question (not to mention I would be six feet tall in them). I know height might be the signature, but it'd be nice to have a few options for us other girls.
Now if only there was a $350 dollar pair...hah.
I actually like the shoe but I would prefer the heel to be higher (like many of you)
love them- i'd still be over 6' in them lol but i can't wear 5 inch heels- i'd be like 6'3. these would be perfect. if i could afford them
they do look kind of cheap for a pair of Louboutins, but I'd still wear them!
love them!
Old lady shoes.
i'm with roor. at 5'6, 5 inch heels are not okay for me.
I agree Fab. They look a little stunted with such a low heel. Cute otherwise.
I love the gunmetal grey color, but other than that, they are a little reminiscent of Blanche/Golden Girls!
With shoes I'm all or nothing; give me ballet flats or 4+ inch stilletos...the in-betweens tend to look...well...AARP.
not bad. would be better with a higher heel though.
the . heel . is . uggo
please people, 3.5" is hardly short for a heel. In fact I'd deem it's probably quite average. At 5'8", it's certainly welcomed by me!
Very classy and lady like.
mmm LOVE!
Cute but I like HIGH heels.
these are gorgeous. i teeter on 3" heels, so these are more in my comfort zone. ha.
I got these for my daughter's birthday and I LOVE that the heels aren't high because there is no way on earth I would let my fourteen year old trot around in 5 inch heels. They are so versatile and cute!
