Remember how Miuccia Prada chose to replace Kirsten Dunst with French songstress Vanessa Paradis [1] for their Miu Miu Autumn/Winter 2008 campaign? I'm not so sure I'm excited anymore . . .

Photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot, the ad depicts Paradis posing somewhat awkwardly wearing a scuba-esque top. I love her makeup but I'm not too impressed with the boring bridge in the background and her lack of expression. This is one of many to come but so far I prefer Kirsten's kitschy Spring campaign [2] to Vanessa's. Do you think Johnny's better half [3] worked it for the camera?
