You thought you'd seen them all: Reusable shopping bags that practically every retailer sells now — but you have another option. its-laS-tik reusable bags ($14) are green, stylish, and bouncy.
Bouncy?
Unlike other canvas or cotton bags that don't stretch, its-laS-tik uses flexible fabrics that take the shape of its contents and move with you as you walk. You can double the load per bag but never feel the extra heaviness. Cool, right? What's cooler is the bags are manufactured by Hurricane Katrina survivors in New Orleans. For about $14 per 12" by 13" bag, you can take the stress off your shoulders and help those less fortunate make a living.

That IS pretty neat!
1I will buy one of those when I get back to the States. Can't go wrong with supporting Katrina survivors and reducing the no. of plastic bags in landfills.
2Love the colors. I always try to use a canvass bag when I food shop.
3how awesome. at $14 they're not too expensive, either! I might have to get a few.
4Yay! Reusable and cheap!
5great to see these kinds of bags on the market!
check out the 'reusable acme bag' below. my bf and i use them all the time. extra kick: it's borderline feather-light, and packs within itself to be extremely small! my bf always puts one in his pocket, glovebox, and at times, his keychain!

enjoy...
6What a great idea!
7I have canvas bags that my grocery store sold for a while, and I love them. They switched over to a different kind, they're a plastic fiber bag, and those are the ones mom carries.
I love using reusable bags...environmentally conscious, and more stuff goes into each bag, which means less trips up the stairs to my apartment!
