27I don't currently watch the show. I only watched the first season of Laguna Beach & a couple episodes from the first season of the Hills. (Honestly I watched it more for production value, as I work in television and often dissect what I watch. I'm a dork.)
BUT, I have to say, I think she looks like the most down to earth & realistic of them all. But then again, who knows!

38I go to UCLA and actually lived in the same apartment building as Lo did before she moved in with LC. Few doors down actually. She didn't get into UCLA as a freshman, she transferred from UCSB so she could live in LA and probably because she thought she could get on the Hills. At school she walked around like she was the sh*t and would want people to recognize her but nobody in Westwood cared. Kinda funny...the people who are really excelling at UCLA have better things to worry about.

how did you come to this conclusion? I think she's very sweet and self-deprecating. I do agree with you that students in the pressure cooker of any top 25 University have more pressing matters to deal with - doesn't preclude, however,that a moment of brainless escape in a vapid TV show isn't appropriate or even necessary at times.
