Per usual, the Fall runways were awash with dark, moody, and jewel-tone colors. However, some designers went against the grain and embraced the icy-cold colors of Fall. Winter white, mellow gray, and arctic blue are intense, cool, and collected.
Narciso Rodriguez (left) was decidedly hyperbolic with this monochrome look — a sculptural white dress, blinding tights and banded shoes. It may be slushy and ugly outside, but being stylishly stark never looked so good.

Not too crazy about the Narciso Rodriguez look. If she had a little white cap on her head, she'd look like a Red Cross nurse from WWII!
