Per usual, the Fall runways [1] were awash with dark, moody, and jewel-tone colors. However, some designers went against the grain and embraced the icy-cold colors of Fall. Winter white, mellow gray, and arctic blue are intense, cool, and collected.

Narciso Rodriguez (left) was decidedly hyperbolic with this monochrome look — a sculptural white dress, blinding tights and banded shoes. It may be slushy and ugly outside, but being stylishly stark never looked so good.
