I was married previously and his tastes were more conservative, and usually expressed to me in a sort of passive-agressive way. I ended up getting rid of some things I loved, but in the end, when the marriage finally ended (booze for the lose), I vowed to find my way back to styles I loved, then stay there. I literally felt "lost" trying to rebuild my life, to have to rebuild my sense of self was the toughest part.

I love my boyfriend, he is amazing, but if I ever get married again it will be YEARS from now, and when I do, I will wear what I damn well please.

I'm not married, but I would dress up sexier once I am! It's a strange psychology...when I'm with a guy (especially walking with him) I would feel more taken/protected so that I could dress any way I wanted to (the fact that he's there with his arm around you means 'hands off' to other guys).

I'm much more relaxed in my style now--less of a perfectionist. I think I take more fashion risks and just sort of dress for my mood. My makeup routine is streamlined and simple. I still want to look good, but I'm dressing for me and not other people because I feel like I've come into my own because I'm not so hard on myself anymore.

Im not married but Ive been with my bf for more than 3 years. . . I dont see why my style would change once we get married. I am who I am and he seems to like it!

My style is my own. I would note change it because on anybody. My husband is very casual and I'm more dressy when we go out. So I let him be his self and I dress how I want to.

Being that my husband is scruffy musician and all being conservative was never really an issue.I dress how I like and his fine with it, not really his business anyway.

I dress to please myself. He would already know me before getting married and if he liked me that way I already was, why would it be expected that I change for him all of a sudden?

well, I chose "other" b/c I don't think I dress more "conservatively" now that I'm married, BUT people tell me all the time that I started dressing nicer from the point I got engaged forward. It wasn't a conscious thing, but I've heard it so much that it must be true.

I changed my style but, like others mentioned, only because I myself had changed. Some of the more revealing things I used to wear like mini skirts made me feel girlish not womanly. I guess I still show as much skin as before but in a different way?

I'm somewhat similar to MandeeLei. I've changed only because I myself had changed, not because I was married.

However, my style have always changed. I've sported different hairstyles (all sorts of short hair, and long hair). Fashionably, I've been conservative to trendy and skimpy. I've been all over the board. It's funny. People who hadn't seen me for a while (like a few years) don't recognize me when they run into me. My appearance had changed so much. I've been told I look like a completely different person with long hair. LOL

The difference between me and MandeeLei is that I still like my mini-skirts. I love wearing them during the summer.

I didn't change my style at all because I got married, but now that I am married and have an additional income, my style has become a bit more sophistocated because I can afford better quality clothing!

after i got married, my style was more feminine. i had been used to climbing the corporate ladder in a mans world and always felt i had to be tougher and more "one of the guys" but being married gave me the freedom to be more feminine with my fashion

not married yet (3 more months)....but since I have been engaged I have been getting my hair and nails done more (I think its programed into my head to do so)....but as for my style...I just finished college not to long ago so I am just trying to get out of the Grudge look and FIND MYSELF in a style that screams me.
