LOVE this style ... i've been eyeing one at urban ... but i've been rocking the sleeveless long cardis ... too hot as of yet for sleeves!

i was thinking about wearing one today too...mine is sleeveless...but it's a little TOO thick for this weather. need to buy another!

this trend but I agree it's still way too HOT to wear them now especially in FL. The heat here is unbearable.

I tried on a long, short sleeved electric blue cardi in Topshop out of curiosity, and I wasn't sure that i'd like it because I'm a big cardi fan, but tend to go more for cropped versions. However, I LOVED it and have been living in it ever since!!

i don't like ashley tisdale's look. it looks weird, a long cardigan in the summer with cut off denim shorts. um, ok. I like long cardigan's though.

sounds like a sort of updated trend from the late 90s. remember those long sweater things that tied in the front?
idk, i'm not a fan of the longness of them, but i love cardigans nonetheless.

I love this look and Ashley carries it well. I bought one from forever 21 and was waiting for Fall before I wore it. Glad to know that I can wear it now.

I have mixed feelings about this trend. For me, it's a hit and miss. Some long cardigans look great on me, and some don't. I think it depends on it's shape.

I love love LOVE long cardis. I go to a college that sits right on the shore of Lake Michigan, so they're fabulous for those days when a full coat is too much. I doubt I'd wear one with shorts, but I have a feeling that's because of my anti-shorts bias (my prickly white legs are nobody's business but my own) than because of the cardi.

I believe back in the '90s they were called Bea Arthurs.
