Jessica Simpson is one busy girl. Following the recent announcement of adding an intimates collection to her repertoire, the celebrity designer, in conjunction with G-III Apparel Group Ltd., will be adding dresses to her Jessica Simpson retail brand.
"I'm extremely excited to be expanding into the dress market. I plan on creating beautiful dresses in distinctive fabrics and silhouettes that are reflective of my personal style and offer something special to the marketplace," said Simpson.
Price points for the dresses are still to be determined but are expected to be in line with Simpson's current offerings of handbags, footwear, swimwear, outerwear, eyewear, and jewelry. The first selection of frocks are set for a soft launch in Spring 2009, with a more complete collection available in stores in Fall 2009.
