Jessica Simpson is one busy girl. Following the recent announcement of adding an intimates collection [1] to her repertoire, the celebrity designer [2], in conjunction with G-III Apparel Group Ltd., will be adding dresses to her Jessica Simpson retail brand.

"I'm extremely excited to be expanding into the dress market. I plan on creating beautiful dresses in distinctive fabrics and silhouettes that are reflective of my personal style and offer something special to the marketplace," said Simpson [3].

Price points for the dresses are still to be determined but are expected to be in line with Simpson's current offerings of handbags, footwear, swimwear [4], outerwear, eyewear, and jewelry. The first selection of frocks are set for a soft launch in Spring 2009, with a more complete collection available in stores in Fall 2009.
