Many of you loved the shoes I wore to a recent wedding so I had to share the details. They are the very reason I grew to love the silk ruffle-neck dress I ordered a while ago. I had tried the dress on with countless other shoes but nothing was making sense. As soon as I tried it with these Jeffrey Campbell Marly Black Patent Leather Platforms ($110), something clicked; they breathed life to my dress, sort of like how Gwyneth Paltrow's powerful shoes complemented her awesome Iron Man premiere dresses. Plus, they were amazing to me all night. Nary a scratch or blister, nada. If I had more thumbs, I'd give them five thumbs up.

7Wow, hot shoes that don't leave your feet begging for mercy by the end of the evening? BONUS. I'm lucky if I can get out the door without my dogs barking most of the time.
