I don't like those particular head-bands, but I wore a pirate pendant like that on a pink ribbon chocker-style and I loved it. I think it just depends on personal taste.

I like both pieces but not the pirate bag from yesterday

Skulls were big in Japan when I went there so I have quite a few pirate accessories. I guess if the accessory is matched properly, it wouldn't be so cheesy. And I wouldn't wear two pirate pieces at the same time.
