BCBG ads have never blown me away . . . until now. Serafima, Tanya D and Nicole Trunfio show off the clothes wonderfully, despite blurry visions passing to and fro. Patrick Demarchelier captured the youth, beauty, and even an element of cool for the brand. The models are a bit whitewashed, but I suppose that makes the images more striking; they look like mannequins. Normally I would like a bit more personality from the talent, but the talent was all in the clothes and behind the lens. I can't wait to see this one in a full glossy, what about you?

I absolutely love BCBG! can't wait to see the new spread!
1those shoes are too much, we all don't strive to be posh spice.
2I got their glossy viewbook in the mail yesterday - I'm not ready to think about fall yet, but there was some cute stuff!
3i would love to see a darker shade in a campaign, just love it and not the usual suspect anomi campbell. blech almost makes me want to be a designer and only feature women of colour, give them a chance too.
4I love BCBG! I can't wait to see the full spread!
5I adore these...fabulous!
6not even half of a black model, or Asian.
7I'm loving the new ads, I saw some other ones in the latest Elle and Glamour. Simply fab!
8Usually models look fine to me (even though they are really thin) mostly they at least look healthy in ads.
92 of the 3 models on this picture look like their last real meal must have been about 6 months ago. It looks awful, and I usually love fashion ads. It is possible to make even this thin look healthier than emaciated. But this is just disgusting.
Nifty camera work, but the models and the clothes are just bleh.
10I love BCBG. Granted, some of it is not to my taste but lately, it seems to have gotten much better. And of course any advertisement by Demarchelier is going to be wonderful
11I love the ad but I hate the hair. It's so harsh.
12Wee bit ..something..bit too 60s..even 70s maybe, for my taste. I don't like "dead" looking models particularly, perhaps that's it.
13You know, between this and Estee Lauder's Sensuous ad, I feel like I'm supposed to get a complex because I'm not white. And the Italian Vogue doesn't speak to me either because I'm not black.
Eh, if it doesn't speak to me, I don't buy it. That goes for packaging, marketing, advertising, etc.
14its ok...
15I love BCBG! I can't wait to see more.
16Eh. I haven't seen models this bland and white looking in a long time.
