No one can knock The Hills' LC for being lazy. She recently made history revealing that she will be designing a Lauren Conrad Collection couture gown for the trophy girls (there has to be a better name for them) for the Emmy awards next month.
Lauren gushed, "I am so excited that the Academy has asked me to design a dress for this year’s Emmy Awards. I will be doing a red carpet look that still reflects the simple classic design of the Lauren Conrad Collection but with a black tie twist."
Lauren's clothing collection has been dissed for its high prices and overly simple designs, although I feel her last collection was more interesting. Are you at all curious to see Lauren's couture Emmy dress?

1Who cares? And what gives a talentless reality show girl the right to design something that more accomplished "real" designers would die for the opportunity to design?
2I'm sure she feels very flattered, but I wish everyone would stop courting her(i.e. all of the 'work' that is thrown her way for no reason other than the fact that she is more or less owned by MTV).
She is way too young and inexperienced and there is no way she will be able to live up to all of these expectations.

10Ok, I am actually VERY curious. I really want to see her step it up and go more Glam because her line way to dull for me. I'm Latina and we love us some bright colors, patterns and sparkles! LoL! She has none of the above. But, I still love her. Let's see what she brings to the table!
11LC has been mediocre thus far, but i think her style has still improved and maybe she will pull off a miracle. then again, she could just be ruining her name with doing this before shes ready
12Gitsie, I've asked that question so many times! I keep telling Pop and Fab that they need to put a discreet *advertorial* disclaimer under their LC headlines. Every day she pops up, without fail, and without doing anything to warrant a mention. It's so annoying!
13This can either make or really break her. If one actress sees her designs they may want to wear something which means more exposure for her. I am curious to see how she glams it up.

I am not going in with high expectations, but she is welcome to exceed them.

I'm interested to see what Miss LC comes up with...her work is usually pretty basic, even for my tastes. Couldn't kill her to throw in some sparkle sparkle, but hey, maybe she'll dazzle us.
