For the first time in this season of Project Runway, I completely disagree with the judges' decision. Sorry, Nina! The challenge was to create a day-to-night look for Brooke Shields's character on Lipstick Jungle — really cool. Sophisticated, bohemian, and sharp was what I envisioned. Seeing the team dynamics is always entertaining, but the results were polarizing. After the models walked, I knew who the bottom and top looks were. Spoiler on its way . . .
I did not expect Kelli to get sent home for an overly-sexy look while Blayne stayed for his tousled styling and gray Bermuda shorts; after Heidi said it looked like someone who had gotten dressed in the dark without a mirror, I thought the decision was made. So yeah, I totally thought Blayne should have gotten the ax. Maybe I'm alone here, you tell me?

I was pretty sure Blayne wasn't going home because he took a chance whereas Nina kept saying she questioned Kelli's taste level (which seems like the worse crime). I am so happy about the dress that won though — it was gorgeous!
1Blayne's outfit makes me think of the olympics for some reason. Not sure why aha.
2blayne has more personality. hence he stays.
3i've disagreed with a lot of the decisions this season - last night's for sure, i didn't think kelly's was that bad. and her other things have been good. also, when that girl with the black ruffled dress went home last week - that was not the worst! that drippy girl's dress with the awful satin layers was horrifying. i also think jerrel's look was better than keith's last night. there is no christian this season, that's for sure.
4I disagree with them a lot actually. Last night I thought that Daniel should have gone home. I know it's supposed to be about the challenges but he just isn't a good designer. I also disagreed with the winning look. Brooke Shields kept saying it was "classy" but it looked outdated and unnecessary to me. I thought Jerrel's look was the best and I want that laughing girl, whatever her name is, OFF the show. She annoys the hell out of me and I suspect she's a Wendy Pepper in pin ups clothing
5I think Kelli should have stayed last night, instead of Blayne (although her whole, "I won the first challenge, so I should stay blah blah blah" spiel was annoying). But face it- Blayne makes better tv. End of story.
6I don't think it's a question of Blayne of Kelli, but a question of which person on Kelli's team should have went home.
Blayne's outfit was too casual kind of Jrs Dept and not Lipstick Jungle Offices( Leanne really should have stepped in), but it was well made and almost exactly what he showed Brooke in his sketch.
Kelli's outfit was tacky/tasteless, and not well made. Even though Kelli was the leader I don't think she should have went home, the main reason her design changed so drastically from the sketch is because Daniel didn't care about her vision because he has so much taste and is so above anything she can do. If you ask me Daniel should have went home, like Kelli said she hasn't ever been in the bottom and even won a challange. "slutty slutty slutty" ahahahaha
7Kelli definitely should have been eliminated if it was between her and Daniel for that design. It was HER design and her vision and she was calling the shots. The fact that she didn't take responsibility for her bad design and suggested Daniel go home was very wrong. I'm glad she went home because she clearly has no integrity.
8i think they're both bad. too bad you can only kick 1 off at a time.
9I prefer looking underdressed than wearing a cheap slutty outfit.
10Blayne's outfit was cute, and what he showed Ms. Shields, even though it was a bit too casual. His partner should have said something. Kelli's was nice, but the top was what looked cheap, other than that it seemed standard. I am more excited to see what Blayne has to offer, and maye the judges felt the same. But mostly I can't fathom half of the top two looks over some of the safe looks, this past season. Really guys?
11I'm with Ktownpolarbear.
12I could never see "Wendy" in Blayne's outfit but I could see her in Kelli's with a little fixing up. I thought the judges were off also.
13Kelli's was just hideous and poorly made. At least Blayne's looked sewn well. Quality always reigns supreme for me.
14I just have to say that Jerrell was ROBBED. That outfit was SEX.
As far as whether it should've been Kelli or Blayne, can't say I care much for either of them. Kelli's outfit was feh, and Blayne is trying far too hard to be good TV. So 6 of one, half dozen of the other!
15Honestly if I was a serious aspiring designer I would never want to be on project runway. I honestly think reality TV sets you up for failure is you aren't already established
16...no picture of Katto/Joe's design? BOO!
17I don't watch PR... but are you saying the bermuda shorts won?
BS' [no pun intended] character would NEVER wear bermuda shorts... not even to the park to not watch her kids while she's on her cell phone.
18The Bermuda shorts did not win. The designer (along with the bustier leopard outfit's designer) were up for elimination.
I keep thinking I like the Bermuda shorts outfit but then I look at it and think, "Nah." I think I just really love the color combo or something.
19I don't love the bermuda shorts outfit, but that whole bustier mess is much worse. That being said, even though it was Kelli's design, I don't think she should have been sent home. Daniel has nothing right, and he definitely does not have "impeccable taste" as he claims. And his execution is consistently flawed.
20Jerrel should have won. Hands down. That outfit was great. It wasn't a borderline cocktail dress. What makes it even worse is Brooke was ecstatic when the model came down the runway. I don't know how that's doesn't scream winner but whatever.
Kelli was the right choice to go home. Execution and design are key. She tried to throw it on Daniel when he handled the skirt. He made it work despite screwing up the rouching. The top was horrendous! She made that. She stuck that craptastic fabric on the bust. She made that thing craptastically short and not so well made. Oy. I'd rather be in Blayne's outfit than Kelli's.
21Kelli had to go home, the outfit looked extremely cheap/tacky. Unless you want to get stopped on a street corner, this outfit is a no for any person, let alone wear it on a fashionable tv show! Blayne didn't do well either however the outfit was far too casual, not tacky. He still gets on my nerves...
22I was really surprised Jerrel didn't win. He deserved it.
23i had the HUGE pleasure of seeing both in person at the projectrunway.com offices today and even though i hated kelli's outfit last night, it was much better in person. it was actually really well constructed (shocker!) and didn't look so cheap or tackariffic. plus, it is something Wendy Healy would wear...she just needed to lengthen the bustier.
Blayne's was well made, but it wall about daytime. I think BS thought she'd take a chance on Blayne, hoping he would make it work for the office and nighttime, but since he used all day fabrics, it looked very Old Navy. Wendy Healy is not Old Navy.
Check out all of the designs he's done altogether: http://www.bussbuss.com/blog.php
I think what we're dealing with HERE is a taste level issue! Ditto Stella and Kelli...
24I have been disappointment with ProjectRunway this season. I have disagreed with several of the judges choices and the designers are borrrrrrrrring. Worst season yet so far, in my opinion.
25Last night made me rather angry. First, I still think Jerell's was the best. I watch Lipstick Jungle, and that outfit was much more fitting with the character. Also, Kelli's outfit was not glamorous, but honestly, I thought Daniel should have gone home long ago. Freaking cocktail dresses! ALL THE TIME!!! Blayne is weird, but there is many a runway I've looked at with the same "what?" face. Also, Kelli's creation was beautiful when they had the supermarket challenge. It showed she was inventive, thoughtful, and creative. I just hate how one bad turn was her end, whereas Daniel's creations are always mediocre at best. He can't even sew in a straight line (the skirt!)!
26the second outfit is disgusting! first is a little overdone but i still prefer it!
27the second outfit is disgusting! first is a little overdone but i still prefer it!
28I think Kelli lost because her outfit looked so CHEAP... like something you'd buy at Wet Seal - not classy at all.
29What about Daniel? He was a total good for nothing and basically admitted that he was half-assing the job. He needs to go.
30Must agree. I could NEVER go to work dressed like that.
31It´s a great look to go out, but my idea of day to night is a look you wear to work on friday and that allows you to go straight to a night out.
The bermuda is hideous, but at least is something you can actually use.
It IS a reality show i.e. they keep those with "stronger" (read: annoying) personalities.
32Jerrel should have won!! his outfit was definitely the best...the winner's outfit had a cool concept but in my opinion looked somewhat like a skirt from saks with a top from arden b...
33except from this week... i've disagreed with every single judging to this point!!! i haven't liked anything of kelli's anyway so i wasn't that disappointed to see her go. while i think blayne does have a point of view (despite him being extremely annoying) Her outfit was tacky and tasteless.
34and i thought that jarell should have won as well. so i guess i disagree for ANOTHER week.
35I loved Jerrel's too, the one that won seemed super easter-sunday to me.
I totally agree with their decision, though. Blayne's might have been way too casual, but it at least looked well made, and those shorts fit like a glove. Kelli's didn't fit well and didn't look well made at all, and the fabrics she chose looked so cheap. I mean, I'd WAY sooner show up in Bermuda shorts to work and make up an excuse about the kids than show up looking ultra tarty in a cheap belly-baring bustier that deflates me boobs.
36Bustier is already vampy and then just to add animal print to it...and what is that crap on the bottom of the skirt. The outfit looked like it came out of Charolette Russe. Blayne on the other hand at least had good constuction even though his piece was not the idea of the challenge.
37The judges must know something we don't know to keep Blayne. I know that the pencil skirt is pretty easy to make compared to a shirt and nice-fitting pants.
38Kelli's taste seemed to border on trashy, plus Blayne took responsibility for his poorly received design. I didn't find his design that appalling. I didn't like the skirt on Keith's outfit much; it looked kind of clownish....I wish the other one had won.
39I really don't understand why Jerrell didn't win. Keith's outfit was fine, but they didn't provide any information of why Keith's trumped Jerrell's.
40I agreed with sending Kelli home; the outfit looked like it was made out of polyester and from Walmart. Blayne's outfit was not appropriate for the character, but I thought it was pretty cute, minus the skin-tight shorts.
