It's a known fact that things age in life, and websites are no exception. Just in time for New York Fashion Week, Style.com has gotten a facelift. History are the days of the busy blue background, and in is a serene white space. In addition to its change in facade, Style.com has also added new features such as runway photos and video (now with full-screen option) within hours of the live show, site content in the form of a widget, guest contributors such as model Coco Rocha, and a "Shop Now" section. BellaSugar will be happy to know that the website has also increased its beauty coverage by launching a blog, Beauty Counter. Now, if only real-life facelifts were this pain-free.

Was anyone else a little disappointed here? I love what style.com does with their dynamic image features- slideshows, style profiles, runway coverage, but the old site was refreshing because it was one of the major fashion sites to actually use *color*. The black, white, gray scheme is everywhere these days- new york mag, the moment, refinery 29. Sure it looks good, but it's getting tired. I expected style.com to come forward with something more interesting.
1Much better I think, I was finding the old layout a bit tired and confusing...
2Hope it's better than WWD's facelift....it stinks
3Thank goodness
