There's nothing sexier than a man with moves. Dance moves, that is. So many people cite Saturday Night Fever as a favorite movie, but really, it gets kinda depressing towards the end, no? I guess they're just as romanced by the disco and the dance as I am. I do have an obsession with disco — what I would give for one night at Studio 54. What can I say, I love the night life. But back to Travolta. I have tried to memorize this dance routine, it's a goodie. Travolta had the looks and the bravado, but he also had the flexibility and the funk. Let's face it people, he gets down and dirty. Doesn't this make you want to go disco dance the night away? Go!

I was too young to see this at the movies when it came out, but I do remember the dance explosion it caused. Those black and white suites were everywhere. And remember Dance Fever?
I know that it is quite a depressing movie, near the end, but remember that Tony makes a very
wise choice about wanting more out of his life. This movie is one on my top ten movies of the 1970's Travolta was not only hot back then but extremely talented. Remember 'The Boy in the
Plastic Bubble?
1Oh, I also forgot to mention that the movie soundtrack was everywhere! Who didn't have a copy of that album? It was such a fun time back then, every though I wished I could have gone to one disco.
2But again, I was too young. Great clip!
Not to mention that his dance moves were the precursor to break dancing and the moonwalk.
If you haven't noticed, all the movies Travolta has made since there is always a dance sequence. He still has it.
3I loved him in Urban Cowboy.
4Even though I despised the disco scene I can really appreciate Travolta's dancing skills. He's such a natural, very fluid. Being so tall, you wouldn't imagine him to be so graceful with dance. (At least I wouldn't.) I did go to Studio a few times, totally not my scene we scrammed and hightailed it down to CB's, LOL!
5Erm, I've never actually seen this movie but one would think that a clip touted as the "Dance Scene" would end after the dance solo, not with a discussion on Catholicism and abortion, no? Weird...
6This is not how it is in the movie.
the whole sequence is in reverse.
I don't know how it got screwed up, but unfortunately its not right.
7Yes! Before becoming a fat Scientologist, he was the original JT
I always like to
remember him like this.
8I love this movie!!!!! Such a classic.
