Tennis champ Maria Sharapova is one of the most stylish female athletes. I first took note when she rocked a gorgeous tulip skirt and showed off those toned gams. More recently, she fulfilled spokesperson duties in a stunning one-sleeve Lanvin dress from the Fall collection. I love everything about this dress: the color, feminine tiers, the nude bodice, the singular black long sleeve. Her choice of accessories — the peep toe ankle strap sandals and metallic clutch — is also commendable. What do you think, does this tennis champ wow you off the court?

i like the shoes- and i'd like the dress if it was strapless- not digging the nude top part and the one sleeve
1I
her heels.
2ewww the hell is she wearing?
3take the sleeve off the it would be a beautiful dress....otherwise it looks like sh*t!
4I'm definitely not digging the nude bodice. It looks like a figure skating dress gone wrong.
5I was watching videofashions on TV last night and this dress was shown on the runway. It didn't even look good on the runway and it looks just as bad on her. The shoes are quite sexy though.
The dress reminds me of those performers that wear half costumes. Like one side is a man the other a woman.
6I hate the dress and the shoes. The bag is the only decent thing.
7all i see is a bad dress & a pit stain
8Usually Lanvin makes me swoon, but this isn't a good look.
9I like the dress silhouette but that one shoulder's not doing it for me.
10"I love everything about this dress: the color, feminine tiers, the nude bodice, the singular black long sleeve."
Those are all the things I hate about this dress, unfortunately.
11it looks like an undone project
12me too Jude C!!!
13Love the shoes... hate everything else. The dress looks like it's been made out of different pieces that absolutly don't go together.
14It's too weird.
15the sleeve is so wrong
16otherwise it woulda been a nice look
I don´t hate the dress but I really don´t love it either. But I´m loving those heels!
17It's all wrong.
18Rip off the one black sleeve and it would be a beautiful dress. As is, it looks unfinished.
19RosaDilia, I was thinking the same thing. I'm having flashbacks to that half-man/half-woman character from Passions back a few years ago (oh the halcyon days of scheduling a semester around BAD television shows).
Maybe it's just her pose but those shoes are helping make her look a little stumpy [to me at least] which should be hard for someone over 6 foot!
20I voted Love it...then I saw the sleeve. Eeeyech.
Nonetheless, she is amazing-looking...her looks tend to overshadow any bad fashion choices she might make!
21I like it from the front. Otherwise, it just looks like she's trying to put her coat on.
22kudos to her for taking a risk, however the dress is terrible! Its not the one sleeve that bugs me, its the color and tiers
23Ridiculous looking, I agree, even without the dorky sleeve.
24Ew, that dress is hideous.
I like her ankle-strap heels though.
25Not a fan of either the dress or the person really
26Eugh, I didn't realize the neck was nude. The arm part wasn't bad enough?
27Ugh, that dress is hideous! Remove the nude bodice and the black sleeve, and then it would look somewhat decent.
28Well then.
She definitely made a statement.
29undecided
30but i really like sharapova, shame that she cannot play at the US open
due to an injury
Fug.
31why are people so hard??????? so many people hate it!! it's unbelievable!!
32I just think she rocks, she's divine, somptous, and very sexy, in the look, in the attitude, anyway what she wears -but you're mean!!!!-
It's HORRIBLE, as is 90% of her outfits, on and off the court. She tries way too hard to be a fashionista and and IT girl. She puts all sorts of trends on herself at once and always ends up ridiculous.
And she's not drop dead gorgeous. If you've ever seen her without makeup, you'll know. Other tennis stars like Ana Ivanovic (world number 1) and Elena Dementieva are so much hotter
33I hate it now but if it had two sleeves I would like it.
