Time to get into the fold. Pleated, tucked, furrowed, whatever you want to call it, these gathered handbags will add depth to your look. The real beauty is you have options: tight, accordion-like folds have a rocker vibe while simple incisions stay crisp and clean. I think I need one of each.

Oh I love a pleated bag. I have one of the Juliet Steve Madden clutches, and I love it. Details like pleating or origami folds are really chic if you ask me

I have quite a few clutches with pleats and folds.
2I don't believe that is anything new?
3Loving the Rachel Nasvik and the Mulberry
4The plum-colored Zac Posen is my fave.
5i like the style - but i think that personally i would need something in a brighter color. i feel like yes they are fall colors for the coming season, but i would want to stand out.
i like the shape though - it's different than the usual bags we've seen lately.
6I love that Plum Zac Posen one! I'm gonna ask my future hubby for it as a wedding gift! LOL!
7They look kinda old-lady to me...
8I just bought the MJ one that was on here a few weeks back and a Col Haan one. I love the look!
9Fab, I'm so sad you didn't include my Kenneth Cole "Aim to Pleats" bag -- I love it so much! I have the large one (it's HUGE but so soft that it drapes well) in black leather because I thought it had the nicest pleats, but it comes in crazy patents (hello yellow!) and muted suedes (like mauve with olive trim) as well as a smaller size. My only quibble is the liquid silver lining, which is soft and beautiful though a bit much especially paired with the other colors and easily snagged, but I'm totally over it since I got such a good deal on it during the Nordstrom sale. I hope someone else gets it and likes it as much, I couldn't recommend it more!
10I love this trend. I just got the 'Dylan' bag from Kooba and would love to have that Zac Posen!
