Please hold while I quickly shed a tear for Naomi Campbell replacing Kate Moss in Yves Saint Lauren's latest ads. Don't get me wrong, Naomi is fabulous in her own right, but the magic that was there with Kate anxiously waiting behind the store window has disappeared. This time around, Naomi is seen posing by herself in an empty room. Of course, this does present a better opportunity to focus on the amazingly powerful clothes. Perhaps it's not Naomi, but rather the barren set, that is making me yearn for the Spring ads. What do you think about Yves Saint Laurent's Fall ads?

I don't care -- both Kate and Naomi are equal in my eyes as supermodel goddesses of the 90s, but dude, what's with these photos. The overexposure of the light looks amature.
1even though kate has had her whole drug issues, i will always like her better than naomi. plus, i think kate is a much better model.
2I like Naomi as a model but I really don't like her hair... it's like, too long.. I find it a bit gross.

4I can't believe this psychopath is still working. Only in entertainment or fashion can you physically abuse people, be a drug addict, or be an alcholic and still not only have a job - but be praised as beautiful or talented. Sigh.
(NOTE: I am not saying she is all of the above, I am referencing the industries generally. But she clearly is an abusive nut job.)
