OK, so here's the thing: I am so over leggings. Have been since they came back a couple years ago. But I accepted it's one of those things that won't die, and I figured out it's because they serve a functional purpose; they do come in handy in times of travel and nippy weather. And so, I think Lindsay Lohan was on to something. Along with her legging line 6126 (named after Marilyn Monroe's birthday), the new crop of leggings are un-ordinary. They come in different colors, textures, and treatments. So if you can't rid yourself of them, try on a modernized, fresh pair, for me.

How about, if you must wear leggings, try not to spend hundreds of dollars on a single pair?
1I have two pair. One in black lame and one cropped pair that are super comfy for yoga.

14the funny thing is, i hated leggings when they first came out, and now i like them a lot. they're just so great under dresses that are a bit short and they're comfy. i would never wear them with short shirts though... i don't wear them too often either

18I am sorry 200 bucks for a pair of stirrup leggings? Those things are awful and way too pricey. I have some legging I got from target for 5 dollars and they are like a ribbed knit. target really got creative with their leggings. And I totally agree wearing leggings as pants is ridiculous. Loved the website Advah.

20I could never get into leggings very much, although I like the fun colors and textures. Those slouchy ones remind me of a girl who "dressed up" for job interviews and was wearing everything a size too big!
