Alexis' dress is a SHORT sleeve that is obviously part of the dress unlike Sharapova's random, black, LONG sleeve.

I like it on other people but not on my self... its not really my cup o tea

Love this trend, but I think it can look odd if it's not done right. IMHO, the single sleeve looks best on a dress that is more form fitting.

I hate this trend. No matter how well-made the rest of the dress is, I still can't justify only wearing a dress (or shirt) with one sleeve. Sorry, I need my symmetry when it comes to clothes!

I like single sleeves too! But I do prefer that it should look like part of the dress instead of being the stark contrasting colour.

This was Flo Jo's thing and I haven't liked it since. And what does being single have to do with the single sleeve?...

Personal Opinion time! I liked Alexis' because it wasn't a long sleeve...the long sleeve to me just goofs with the eye, it makes one arm look very skinny and the other looks bigger to me (depending on the color of the dress). Alexis' was closer to one shoulder than one sleeve, so it didn't mess with my head.

It only works if you have great arms. If you have not so tone arms or flabby arms, Not a good idea.

i'll tell you what the difference was: maria's dress was butt ugly and looked sewn together by a child. alexis' dress was adORable! sooo cute with the short sleeve. while jada looks good, i dont like the long sleeve. it's very early 2000s!
