Gingham is all grown up! You don't have to feel like Lolita in today's gingham offerings...unless you want to (wink). Every gal should have at least one gingham item for a super summery day. It may rival chambray as a lightweight, classic fabric but it's got the colorful angle. 1I'm not liking the dress. Instead of wearing it for a picnic in the park... it looks like the table spread you'd use FOR a picnic in the park.

7I love gingham, but it's better applied to a simple, classic style like a basic button-down shirt.I just got an AWESOME pink gingham headband at J Crew! The shoe is the only thing here that pleases me , but only to look at because I fear broken ankles.Seriously. Look at that wedge.
