Lookie here, comeback kid Shannen Doherty and Lauren Conrad have been spotted donning Richard Ruiz's silk printed sheath dress. Check how Lauren, seen at the Nylon party in LA, styles her black version by cinching in the boxy shape of the dress with a coordinating belt. A simple bracelet and Yves Saint Laurent platform sandals complete her ensemble. On the flip side, Shannen lets her fiery red confection hang loose and opts for minimal jewels and a pair of gold Christian Louboutin sandals at the Late Show With David Letterman. Both ladies command attention, but which look do you prefer?

1Both look nice, but I think Shannen looks better. Since the dress is so loose and flowy, I think the most people (inluding Lauren) would belt it, but since almost every look nowadays includes a sinched waist, I like that Shannen opted for something different. Plus, the red version seems dressier than the black, and the red against Shannen's pale skin and dark hair looks very flattering. Lauren's way just looks too casual and typical. Oh, and I like Shannen's choice of shoes better too.
2I feel like the belt breaks up the print too much and this dress it's an interesting piece on it's own and the belt just makes it look too busy. Shannen looks awesome in this outfit; it's perfect for her.

I agree with shannydoots in everything. The only thing I have to add is that the shift dress looks better on Laurens "bigger" figure. I also think Lauren nailed the length better. Other than that I prefer Shannen.
5Both of them look HOT but I choose LC b/c of the YSL heels. I have been lusting over them for awhile now.

8I don't like the dress at all, and I don't like it on either of them. It certainly doesn't flatter Lauren's orange skin, though.

11I have to disagree guys, I think Lauren wore it better. Shannen's legs are a bit too thin for it and the length looks awkward on her IMO.

29Shannen looks amazing, they both do- however the color choice for Shannen is dead on. It feels noir and a bit goth against her skin yet exotic.
