What a fabulous surprise that Julie Haus (who was showing at New York Fashion Week for the first time) guests included Leighton Meester and Molly Sims and was styled by
Elle fashion editor extraordinaire Kate Lanphear. No wonder the collection was a hit. Leighton has been a longtime fan of Haus; her girlie, colorful creations suit the gamine perfectly. When asked how she liked the show, Leighton replied, "I loved it, why? Do you love her like me? I love it so much, it was so cute. She’s usually so feminine and quirky but it was actually very rock-n-roll. It was awesome." I have fantasies of being a celebrity stylist, and if I were to pick some Spring looks for Leighton, here's what I'd choose . . .
