Versatility was the name of the game at Peter Som. The designer really made an effort to cater to all types of customers — with prints, solids, glitz, and minimalism. Women who aren't afraid to experiment with bold colors and prints will fall in love with the slew of flowy maxi dresses (I know Rachel Zoe, who was in the front row, did) as well as some mini ones in fuchsias and bright blues. Solid-loving fans may appreciate the oversize blazers with short shorts and strapless rompers.
Som also presented pocketed skirts, lamé shirt dresses, sequined shift dresses, and mid-length voluminous skirts in pretty peachy hues. Like I said, very versatile. The common denominator among all looks was the belted waist. Dark brown belts lent an air of nonchalant casualness that Som, and his fans, crave.
