What to wear on the way to the forum? Why, a luxe pair of gladiator sandals. These may not be for everyone, they are a bit masculine and daring, but I for one love them. They have a very exotic feel and when worn with a slinky trapeze style dress you create a look that is totally sexy - trust me. Also, a look that is very comfortable! My only suggestion is to wear any ankle straps with a good bit of leg showing as to not cut off the length of the leg. Oh, and stay away from the lions!

Calvin Klein "Cadee" Sandal, $90. Sorry, I love these - I gotta plug them!

ick i don't like the top ones they look like something my grandpa would wear.....and no my grandpa does not wear trapeze dresses.
blah! not cute!
I'm not a fan. I like the flat sandles look, but when it comes to them I think less is more.
Oh I HATE these gladiator style shoes that are out now. Too manly for me or something, I'd rather wear just a pair of ballet flats or flip flops
ok - these things are hideous - ugh - so ugly i cant stand it. first the ballet slipper and now this - please nobody wear these unless you are going to a toga party - then..that may be cute - in a toga kinda way
honestly the thought of wearing those last bcbg ones makes me laugh
ohhh at burlington coat factory the other week, they had cute BCBGirls shoes...metallic silver and gold. kinda daring and interesting, and i'd probably pair that with either, like mentioned, a trapeze dress or with a swimsuit at the beach. they are awkwardly made, so they're not exactly too flattering! but they're an interesting alternative to the basic flip flop.
hmmmmmmm Not bad but the bcbg one is much better. Much more style.
I really love this look. Those Calvin Kleins are awfully tempting. I think I'm entirely too short for the other two but I like the bottom pair quite a bit.
I love the CK ones as well but not a fan of the others. The color and style make them unique- plus they're more delicate so less of the leg-shortening factor. That last pair would just be a disaster on me.
Can you say cankle?

I think I just threw up a little in my mouth. Yuck-a-roo!
"Party like a rock star, pound like a porn star, play like an all star!"
I like the first two. I have an old pair of sandals that are similar. I love wearing them with dresses or jeans
I have seen some cute grecian sandals, but I don't like any of these.
They are very "Misha Barton Style".....not for me.
I actually like Gladiator sandals. I ordered these black pair from Urban Outfitters but they kepy cancelling because they were sold out.
I love the middle pair, but bleh! I hate this trend! And Grecian sandals are one thing, but the whole gladiator trend is heinous.
The best things in life are free. The second best are expensive.
I wore a pair of these that were very similar to the Calvin Klein ones for my friend's wedding last summer and my feet were so comfy! Plus, it was outside and for once, I didn't have to worry about sinking into the ground.
I like the Calvin Klein ones...well sort of...well maybe..
They tend to have the long center strap down the front..that emphasize the length of the foot (Paris Hilton, beware these shoes!). If they had a heel, it would help make the foot look smaller because of foreshortening. I think that unless you have a small foot with really long legs, these probably wouldn't be flattering...just trendy.
Whew! I'm so relieved to read all the other comments because I thought it would be just me reacting negatively towards these. HATE them.
There is no amount of money that would make me wear those things...
nope not for me either.......
I don't really like how these sandals look on the foot...not very becoming, if you know what I mean.
Those are not for me.
I thought these were last years style.
It's back again? Yay! I have this pair I bought in Japan last year. Time to break them out!
My sister has a cute pair. She's 5'11 so they look great on her, but not for my short legs! I'm 5'3.
It's okay to wear these with short legs. I'm 5'2 myself.
I bought a pair from Koton here in Turkey and they're really cute. I had a hard time trying to figure out what they went with clothing wise but I like odd shoes so it didn't take me very long. The CK ones are adorable but the first ones are too strappy for me.
This is the ugliest sandal style ever created. They are ugly on everyone! What are people thinking to ever push this crap, as style.
