For those who have legs and know how to use them, this is your time to shine. You've been living under a rock if you didn't notice that mini dresses are hot hot hot for Spring. This week I'm all about Dress You Up! and getting you all prepared for the dress surplus of the season.
You will notice my picks are solids with details like rosettes, trim, volume and pockets. I think the classiest way to wear a mini is with dignity; keep the pattern simple and modern and let your legs work it. Just my opinion but when sporting a raised hemline, the most stylish way is to be subtly sexy. One of my mottos is: if you've got it, flaunt it. So lucky leggy gals, these are for you.

Cute! I like the mini dresses
1I love the Splendid dress. One could get a variety of looks from it.
2LOVE the red one. And would love the AKA in a diff. color. but the Philip Lim is definitely my fave. Perfection!
"Save the makeup, save the world..."
3I like mini-dresses but if I ever see another rosette I will die. (Angela from Project Runway's fault)
4haha gamingangel, i thought the EXACT same thing when i saw that first dress.
5Oooo! All so fun, especially the Splendid one!
6I like mini dresses but not any of these.
7I agree, Wicked. I've seen much cuter ones than this particular selection.
8I have seen so many in big bold prints. I am just not a large print gal! I think a solid in a beautiful color would be great.
9I absolutely love the first and last dresses! SO CUTE!
10They're ok. I think these dresses are only made for the tall slender crowd...us short folks would look rediculous in them.
11love the red dress and the tank mini dress..cant wait for the weather to warm up a bit more..
12OHHH MY GAWSH I love all of these...I really want them all! I love minis, especially classy ones with beautiful silhouettes and a comfy feel to them.
13I totally disagree with you, JustMe21! I think they're perfect for us petite gals! Most trends swallow me up (I'm 5'2"), so I think the mini dress is so flattering! And hot heels/wedges are definitely in order...
The best things in life are free. The second best are expensive.
14agreed with the "Just Say NO to rosettes" comments! i just can't dig them.
but i absolutely LOVE the Splendid Heather dress. the thing that sucks is that if you have big ta-tas like mine, they won't fit (unless you want your boobs spilling out!) or they cut you off in the middle of the chest.
15i saw this post recently on jamie-lyn sigler (meadow from the sopranos) where she was wearing this uber-cute black off-the-shoulder mini dress. whiplashgirlchild posted a more affordable version that i would even venture to say was cuter. can't wait to get my paycheck and buy it -- i'm all about this mini-dress trend. and yes, jamee ro, i too am petite (5'1") and think it will be a flattering look. most regular length dresses leave me swimming in them. now if i could just find where i left my motivation to go the gym (and assemble my bike) to work off those winter pounds so i can wear these darn things....
16I'm in love with the first and last dresses. So much that I'm looking online to find ones that are similar but with lower price tags.
17I agree with Wicked..The rosettes dress is ooooooook i guess
18i like the gray mini dress wit the rosettas its cute..and the red dress is nice and i like the last white dress...its nice.
