2007 Cannes Film Festival: Ellen Barkin

As Borat would say: wowowee wa. Ellen Barkin looks smashing in her plum sweetheart gown at the Ocean's Thirteen premiere. I love that her decolletage is bare because your eye would normally expect to see a necklace there; though some drop earrings would have been nice. And her blonde bob is so modern and cutting edge. I'm not so hot on the shoes, as I would have preferred to see her in some classy gold open-toe sandals. What do you all think?

I'll have to give it to her, she looks great but in my opinion she's too old for such a low cut neckline. I guess if I had her body at that age, I'd show it off too.

the dress is lovely. i agree with most comments that it was designed for someone younger and more shapely. the color does seem to suit her well. the shoes, on the other hand, look positively treacherous. her haircut is adorable but not at all flattering to her face. women over 50 would do well to look to helen miran to see how to do it right!

I would have preferred open toed shoes since the dress is strapless. It looks imbalanced!

i think for her age - she looks great... but i do think she needs to lift it up a bit.. does anyone else feel that she resembles Cameron Diaz? obviously an older version, but definitely Cameron would definitely look like her when she's older... i saw it when I watched The Holiday, Cameron reminded me of her.

Who is this woman and how old is she? I think the dress is way too young for her, and it looks like its going to fall down any minute now! Don't like the shoes, it's boring without any jewelery, and she has no curves to fill out this amazing dress. Hate it.

I think the dress is nice but it'd be nicer if it wasnt hanging off of her chest for dear life. It makes her boobs look too long and saggy. Perhaps a higher neckline would have suited her better.
