2008 Cannes Film Festival: Gwyneth Paltrow

Gwyneth Paltrow turned up to the premiere of Two Lovers at the Cannes Film Festival in a navy blue satin low v-neck Chanel Cruise dress with black piping. It's definitely not my favorite dress of hers, especially after all her smashing Iron Man looks, but it's not disastrous either. I like the combo of black and blue and I see that it's starting to become a trend at Cannes. Oh, and those Roger Vivier buckle pumps? I'll take two!

I agree with brunch... The dress is unflattering. Plus, the bows on the collar look tattered. While I love the shoes, I don't think the dress does THEM justice, either.

I love bows, but this dress does nothing for her figure. She looks gorgeous otherwise though.

I find it unflattering, and I don't like the cut. It's like she has worn the dress backwards. BUT BUT BUT she looks beautiful! :)

Gwynnie...honey. Have you gone color blind recently and therefore decide to ONLY wear black dresses at the risk of going out in public wearing chartreuse with hot pink shoes? That's what stylists are for. Yeah...I know she's gorgeous and all, I'm just getting kinda bored of all the black. Most of them are nice, but this one is kind of awkwardly short and it looks like it requires more boob than she has.
