I love the detail at the waist. The striped design is a little weird but I think it works.

the dress itself isn't that great but i have to admit (like almost everyone else) that it really highlights her curves. Wow. I didn't realize she had such an hourglass figure. that thing on her chest looks weird though.

Is this a gigantic feather corsage I spy on her chest??? Why??? I like the silhouette of the dress and her make-up although her eye brows look slightly too thin and scary here. But I guess it is very old Hollywood to have thin brows...

yeah, I agree that I don't love the dress, but I do think she looks stunning in the dress and with the hair and makeup - that red hair is so glamorous and her figure is just perfection in the gown...
