I was away from the threads while I was watching,I thought fergie sounded good,amy winehouse sounded great too( a little odd with the dancing though, but her great back up dancers made up for it),alicia keys and kanye did a decent job,rihanna was not going to make those rumors go away about her and jay z by dragging him up on stage( before he could even give Beyonce the congratulatory hug)for their acceptance speech,I loved tina turner she is a legend( beyonce was bugging me in that intro though,so weird) but beyonce did great with tina during the number, the time was great, aretha is always a legend( even if her dress was wrong) have to give her her respect she's earned it,I love cyndi Lauper, where was christina aguilera, justin timberlake? I wish Bonnie Raitt had been chosen to perform, I love her voice. They sure didn't show enough rock or hip hop performances from nominees this year, only the most anticipated performances seemed to perform, wasn't mary j supposed to perform? I thought I read that somewhere. Either way it wasn't a bad show although long.Yay for Amy whinehouse she deserved those awards. Congrats to all the winners and nominees, and Nelly messed up her pretty dark hair. p.s. fantasia looked soooo jealous right after rihanna and The Time performed, if you have it tivo'd rewind to her face after that performance,lol

I saw Herbie in Memphis while John Mayer was playing back up for him. I'd never thought he would win over those nominees! CONGRATS! BTW, if anyone finds a great picture of alicia keys performing, let me know. I want her hair!
