2009 Primetime Emmy Awards: Best Dressed

I'm totally impressed with the Emmys red carpet this year! There was some good variety, experimentation, and color. This lineup of the bests of the night are all different; and it was really tough narrowing it down. I have a few favorites, and you're looking at a couple of them — who was yours?!

january jones & then sandra oh...Get the f out of here with the leighton dress. people are just way too biased when it comes to her.

leighton shouldn't even be an option. the dress was ill fitting and her makeup looked awful.

Kate Waslh should be on the list and she's my no.1 pick...these girls look boring..some wear beautiful gowns but they don't give justice on them..I pity the gowns and more on the designers...it always counts who wears and how she wears it...and kate walsh can always pull off any of them well.

Definitely January - that dress was amazing. Lindsay comes in a close second, I love the colour on her.I was not a fan of Leighton's look that night. It was kinda blah; nothing horrible but nothing memorable either.

Didn't like the way January was styled at all, the dress is amazing, however. Sandra just looks all glowy and gorgeous, I am surprised.

I pretty much died over January Jones' dress. It's definitely my favorite. I definitely think she's best dressed.

January Jones wins because she took a risk and it worked. Leighton should not have been in the top five... she is not worst dressed, but she is not even close to best.

Please take Leighton off this list. She looks terrible. That dress does nothing good for her! She normally looks amazing and this was a great disappointment!January and Sandra looked amazing. Although, I have to agree with someone above that the pic here of Sandra doesn't do her justice.

Best: Anna Torv was my favorite; also Rose Byrne. A lot of ladies looked nice, but kind of safe/boring.Worst: Olivia Wilde!! Looked like a bunch of lace Kleenex stuck to her after she left the bathroom.
