Which Purple Golden Globes Gown Is Most Fab?

Hollywood's been hit with purple fever. A handful of stars opted for regal purple gowns at the 2010 Golden Globe Awards last night. Leona Lewis chose a lavender satin Cavalli number, Sandra Bullock wore a bright purple Bottega Veneta, Fergie chose a Grecian light purple gown by Elie Saab, Jane Krakowski showed up in a one-shoulder J. Mendel dress, and Rose Byrne sported a retro Lanvin. Each has its panache, but who was most Fab?

I don't agree that Sandra's dress was one of the worst, so I choose her.

I think Rose looks the best - her Lanvin dress is to die for and the overall look is classic.

i agree about the purple comment crazyrussian. i think sandra's dress is beautiful, but it would have looked better if she'd had her long flowing locks down, i think fergie looked the most gorgeous, her dress fitted her perfectly, her hair down like that looks fab, and her skin tone matches the colour of the dress. i want to be patriotic and say leona but the dress is really badly fitted, she always looks fab anyhow though.

ugh I love that purple is back - it's a shame Anne Hathaway isn't in this line up - she would look great in purple.

I like Sandra's dress, but Rose's seemed more elegant. Therefore, I chose Rose.

Jane first, then either Rose or Sandra. I think it may be the sheen to Sandra's dress that evokes prom. I don't like the sheen but the style is flattering. Fergie's reminds me of a prom dress even if it does flatter her figure. I agree with you, lilkimbo, on Leona's dress.

I went with Jane. I loved her dress when I watched the ceremony and I love it in this picture. Rose is a close second for me. Sandra's dress looks good here, but I thought it looked like a prom dress, too, redchick. I like the fit of Fergie's dress, but I think a different shade of purple would have been more flattering. And the material of Leona's dress is all wrong; it shows every wrinkle and doesn't photograph well.

jane!! that fit is amazing.fergie was pretty, but reminded me of a bridesmaid. i adore the color of sandra's dress, but it looks like a cheapo prom dress!

I love the color of Sandra's, but I really don't like the skirt. From the waist up, I like her the best, but I voted for Rose because I think hers is the best overall.
