I admit, dungarees aren't for everyone, but if there's an inner Laura Ashley hiding inside of you, now is the time to release her. Personally, I kinda love this kickback style. While Ralph Lauren paired his denim overalls with gold peep-toe heels for his Spring collection, I prefer mine with some fun flats. Retailers offer a range of styles varying from slim-fitting to baggier cuts. Glad I kept my pair from the '90s . . .

1I only wore dungarees a lot when I was pregnant only because I was comfortable in them, Other than that, not flattering unless your gardening.

8Ummm, I never let this trend die. Maybe I am wrong, but I have always owned overalls and love them. I am actually wearing my newest pair right now. $3.99 carhartts from the thrift store. LONG LIVE DUNGAREES!

13Ha! I just bought a pair of overalls. Dark denim....quite fitted on top. Some store had a bunch of deadstock left over from the late 90's and the owner sold them to me for $35. They were originally tagged at $90...and I think they are darn cute. Unfortunately I live in a podunk town and most people probably won't "get it" but that's ok. I'm definitely going to rock them with a straw floppy hat, frilly shirt, and gold sandals...a la Ralph Lauren.
