Coca Cola isn't exactly a brand known for healthy drinks. But that may change as of 2008, when the multi-billion dollar company and the popular makeup line, L'Oreal are expected to launch their tea-based skin care drink called Lumae. Come 2008, don't go searching for the drink in the aisles of 7-Eleven or Trader Joe's, as it's rumored that it will only be sold in department stores like Saks Fifth Avenue. Lumae will be aimed at "active, influential, image-conscious women over the age of 25 who embrace health and wellness."
I absolutely love my Coca Cola but I don't know if I believe that Lumae will give me beautiful skin. Are you a believer?

Uhhh... I'll pass. Coke was originally started as a health tonic and we all quickly discovered that it serves no medicinal purpose. Ya want to take something for great skin, try the "Hair, Skin & Nails" vitamin from GNC!

1Pretty skeptical.
2This sounds really weird.
3I agree crispet1.
4what...?
5I'll stick on my diet coke, thanx
I don't know what to believe about this....I am Coca-Cola addict
and when I say addict I mean
2l per day...
6If it's a beverage and it's only going to be sold at places like Saks... well then you can bet it will be way overpriced and probably not work at all. Why don't people just drink WATER? It's the best skincare beverage there is...
7you said exactly what I was thinking Kayleigh
8If it's tea-based, why not just drink tea? This so-called skin-helping drink probably just contains green tea, which is chock-full of antioxidants.
9I don't buy into it and I won't but it either. Why not just make a cup of green tea and take nutrients; it's cheaper.
10I'm a hige Diet Coke fan but I don't drink enough of it to be interested in this. There's still a lot of sugar that goes into these sorts of things.
11mmm i don't really believe in all this, i think if you eat healthy, you don't need to eat or drink all this "new food "
12In france, we now have a new yogurt that makes you beautiful !!!!! Because it has lots of vitamins or stuff like that !!! yeah, i'm sure i'll become beautiful just by eating a yogurt
Well, I'm now curious, but I'll wait and see. Love my diet coke!
13This is the real deal. I work in the industry and was shown this just the other day. Not quite what you'd get from other more naturally inclined whole food type companies, but the ingredients and the concept is right on. Antioxidants and a bunch of skin friendly nutrients. Give up the Coke if you want decent skin and go for this instead.
