I'm thrilled to report that the rumors are true. The least dramatic of The Hills stars, Whitney Port, is indeed getting her own reality show. Filming will begin immediately but the series won't air until early 2009. The cameras will follow Whitney as she gets busy with her new gig at Diane von Furstenberg in NYC. This means not only will we get to see the lovely and fashionable Whitney, we'll also get to know Diane much better. Double the pleasure, double the fashion fun!

i'm hoping her show focuses a bit more on the fashion industry and the drama involved in that, besides just like the high school drama of the he said she said Hills type of drama. if its more fashion focused i might tune in!
1She's so pretty in this photo
2SNOOZE! Whitney is so dull and I can't STAND the way she talks...like someone is pulling her jaw down. The clothes she wears never look good on her; it's like she's forcing a look. I'll skip this.
3i think this will definitely be different from The Hills in that it will be more about fashion...not about any drama about friends and boys--therefore it'll be less interesting to those who love drama.
I'll be watching the show...I'm definitely curious as to how Diane or her staff are going to work/deal with Whitney...or vice versa. =)
4Ridiculous...there are so many talented undiscovered actors. These kids are scabs for talented the studio would have to pay more to... television's in the toilet.
5I am actually excited about the possibility of a more fashion-oriented show...hopefully they keep the focus on that and not stupid drama!
6i like whitney... she always act responsibly and professional, plus she always stays out of drama, maybe that is why she is boring?
I will definitely watch her show.. hopefully it is more fashion and less drama compared to the Hills
7yayyyyy! It sounds like this show is gonna be a lot more about fashion and less about drama, like the hills. I cant wait!
8*unlike the hills
9I agree — less drama, more fashion drama!
10she's so very patronizing and annoying on the hills, but i like the fashion idea!
11Awesome! I love Whitney.
She kind of reminds me of Lisa Kudrow in this photo...
12*yawn*
13Whitney has always been my favorite because she is so much more mature and level-headed than everyone else (not hard to be I guess!). She has so much more maturity and great style. Like others have said I hope this show focuses on the industry more than anything - Love Diane VF!
14who the hell cares?! she's an untalented idiot, as are the "writers", so you know the show is going to be stupid and all about fabricated drama - why would I want to watch that...
15Not for nothing, but didn't Nicky Hilton wear that dress to the VMA's... I remember those hideous zippers and triangle thingys... umm.
16oh man i'm so over these girls all getting their own f*cking reality shows. now they'll just be more stories about them, filling every crevice of pop sugar.
17i hope dvf did not hire her and agree to do the show for free publicity--she definitely doesn't need it! i don't know much about whitney, but i don't know if i can bear to watch another fabricated-MTV reality show. gossip girl fabricated drama is sooo much better
18i didn't realize that she left people's revolution - especially since we just saw her big promotion not too long ago. i wonder what her role will be at DVF, but i have to say that i'm excited since i like whitney. i feel like she has a work ethic and this is her life - not just to be on TV but to make something of herself.
