Urban Outfitters listed this Silk Floral Headwrap ($18) as one of their must-have items of the season. I like the idea and it lends a certain je ne sais quoi, but it's a bit costumey. Do you think I should I add this to my 10 Fall essentials?

cute , but not my style.
its nice, its just not "essential". This is a trendy wear-it -one-or-two-times-then-wonder-why-you-bought-it accesory, and to call it a fall staple is delusional... but then again i never did like UO!
shopgirl I completely agree!
Yeah, um, I definitely made one of those three months ago for like two dollars.
I also make my own feather earrings. Being craftsy is soooo rewarding when everyone is selling easy art projects....
It would be kind of distracting to wear...
Very cute. You'd need a lot of confidence to pull it off though!
I think if you move the band so that the flower is in the back it will look like a hippie band and it will be pretty.
i think if it was worn further back, like IN the hair, headband-style, it could be very very cute.
it's not an essential, but it's boho and i wouldn't want to rip it off someone's head if they wore it.
I really don't know why, but I love it....the black is looks much better than the creme one though!
My first thought... Meh. On second thought, it is completely unwearable. Thin elastic bands never do good things to hair or foreheads.
while I might try it, I would NEVER pay $18 for it - it's called going to the crafts store, picking up a flower ans some leather string!
Very cute. I'm not sure about this particularly, but you definitely need some kind of hair accessory in your list of fall essentials!
I bought this a few weeks ago. Haven't worn it yet, but I will! The elastic band is pretty loose though. The model must have a big head.
Sorry fab, but that silk flower headband is just large and tacky.
Good idea, bad execution.
I bought this is black- I wear it as a straight-up headband with the flower on the side and it's really cute. It would have never occurred to me to wear it like this.
It reminds me of Kenley. She makes me go >:O
I have one with a smaller flower in black and love it.
i don't know how i'd wear that, plus the flower does look pretty tacky.
power on, eccentricity!!!!!!
LOVE it...but I have no idea where I would ever where it without feeling like a fool.
It looks like something you would pair with a flapper costume for halloween.
I personally would never wear it, I don't like the headwrap/headband phase, makes me think/feel like blood is being choked from my brain.
But wearing headbands normally is fine.
its sooo Zooey Deschanel. Totally cute. Especially if it were worn with something a little edgy, to take the overtly bohemian vibe away from it.
i think that it's a great look but i don't know how wearable it is. for myself - i can't go to work with that and i don't know if i would feel comfortable going to a bar like that, but i still love the look.
I looove white flowers and flower bands but this is a bit too big
I chose love it still
