This Diane von Furstenberg Philippine Blouse ($285) encompasses two Fab trends: a nude color palette and plenty of pleats. I would toughen this romantic blouse with a pair of skinny black pants and my favorite Fall jacket. Sounds Fab, huh? The only thing stopping me from putting it all together is the price.

Whew! This Victoria's Secret Silk Chiffon Pleated Blouse ($68) is much lighter on the pocketbook. It has the same billowy sleeves as the aforementioned version and I like the slightly longer cut. Done and done.

2There's one for the plus sized girls too - check out Lane Bryant's bubble sleeve ruffled shirt. That said, I tried this shirt on a few weeks ago and it did *nothing* for me.

6Interesting that DVF called this a "Philippine" blouse. My guess is that the inspiration comes from men's barongs, which come in nude colors, are sheer, and which men wear with white shirts underneath to formal events. I've seen women's inspired barongs before but never this fitted, pleated, and girly. That said, this DVF blouse is a nice, modern interpretation.
